When Aneri Kothari, a professionally trained chef from Peru with a profound love for food, moved to Ahmedabad she set out to explore the local food scene. While enjoying the local flavors and diverse ingredients available in the city, she also felt like she was missing something. She quickly recognized a gap in the city's culinary landscape, a space for exquisitely plated meals crafted with a focus on ingredient quality and innovative, curated flavor combinations.

Aneri realised she wanted to bridge this gap that existed in Ahmedabad’s food industry. She realised there were others like her who felt the same and found two like-minded individuals, Shaurya Sinha and Kiran Galani. Sharing a love for good food and a vision for exceptional culinary experiences, the trio joined forces to launch Oido.

Derived from Peruvian kitchen culture, "Oido" translates to "heard" and embodies the disciplined ethos of high-profile kitchens.

It was chosen to signal to our clients that we are not only attentive but ready to go above and beyond for them.

Aneri’s experience working at top international restaurants like Maido and Central in Peru provided her with invaluable insights into the operations of a professional kitchen. She leveraged this knowledge to assemble a team of highly trained staff and curate dining experiences that brought the finesse of fine dining to Ahmedabad. With Oido, Aneri aimed to elevate the local culinary scene, blending her international expertise with local flavors.
